Traditional bed & breakfast
We provide our guests with recently refurbished, high quality bed & breakfast accommodation at an affordable price. The way it should be.
Hearty breakfasts
We offer a full English breakfast which consists of free range eggs, bacon, Cumberland sausage, mushrooms, tomatoes, hash brown and beans. Vegetarian breakfasts are also provided. We only use the best fresh local produce.
There is an alternative breakfast of poached smoked haddock with a poached egg. Various cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurts and juices are also available along with a selection of teas, freshly ground coffee or hot chocolate.
On Friday and Saturday evenings we open our dining room as a small restaurant serving a fixed price 4 course dinner with coffee. We are not licensed but guests are welcome to bring their own bottle of wine. We are open to the public and it is therefore best to reserve a table in advance should you wish to dine with us.
We have been in the hospitality business for many years and among his many awards Archie was Scottish Chef of the Year in 1993.

The dining room is the latest addition to our guest house and is a stylish and intimate room seating a maximum of 12 guests. We do not have an alcohol license and encourage you to bring your own favourite wine or beer and we will happily serve it with your meal
